The Clark Fork River, Missoula MT

It was early in the month of November 1987 when I arrived at the train station in Whitefish MT. The snow was  falling gently, dancing in the glow of the streetlights as it whirled about silently making it's way to the ground.  I heard the footfalls of my brothers  boots clumping on the sidewalk as he approached.  With the streetlights behind him I could see his outline coming towards me.  He wore a cowboy hat, vest, cowboy boots and a grin from ear to ear.  It seemed Montana had been good for him.  That or he had been drinking, it was too early to tell.

Since then I have made Montana my home and found out why he wore that silly grin.  Montana truly is a state with a  diverse choice of experiences available for both traveler and native Montanans.  Whether it's experiencing the uniqueness of the Archie Bray in Helena, driving the Going to the Sun road in Glacier National Park, or attending the story telling roundup in Cut Bank, there truly is an awesome  new adventure for everyone !
